Since I pulled my hamstring, I was still walking, but not riding the bike. I did walk Wednesday morning.
Wednesday night I didn't walk, for several reasons.... I was sore, I got home late, I was pissed, and I just finally decided to give myself the night off. I popped 2 Tylenol
PM's, chatted with my wonderful husband online, then went to bed, probably about 10:30pm or so. WELL.... I wake up to my phone ringing Thursday morning and it's work. My co-worker asks me if everything is okay... then I look at the clock.
HOLYSHIT it's 8:50am and I was supposed to be at work 20 minutes ago. WOW! I didn't hear my alarm (or maybe I set it wrong), but I have 4 alarms that go off on my phone every morning and I didn't hear any of those either! Despite my calf hurting a little now, my hamstring is feeling a little better.
Last night was a wonderful night. I didn't walk because I had dinner with my family. (two cousins, my cousins wife, my sis, and my Dad) My cousin is due in two weeks and she even had false labor on Saturday (they went to the hospital but were sent home). That was the first time we'd gotten together, outside of a holiday, in a very long time. I'm happy to say they thanked me for pulling us all together. Originally, we were all supposed to go out to dinner with Grandma, but she is working through some depression at age 89. After having a flat tire and not being able to get her hair done, she just told us she wasn't feeling up to it. Maybe I'll get her out to feed the ducks or out to church this weekend.... anything to get her out of the house.
I'm going in to work early today so I can make up time from yesterday. Tonight, I WILL hit the pavement, just as soon as I get home. I have to look
HAWT for when my husband comes home in December!
