This week

Yesterday and today I went for a walk in the morning and got into the gym to press weights for a short time. Unfortunately, STILL, going to bed late, getting up late; I cut myself short. I do believe something is better than nothing, but I want to get into walking a mile and a half every morning AND press iron for 20 minutes every morning. If I can do that for a week straight, then maybe I can get back into or fit in a workout at night. I'm also looking into classes that I'd like to start at the beginning of the year. I know I have a lot to accomplish on my own, and I know I'll get to the point of needing a little boost. Whether it's because I've hit a plateau or because I need a little help in holding myself accountable, I want to be ready to try something new.

In the meantime, I still have hopes of getting myself on a better schedule so I can fully utilize my mornings! We're still in the 90's during the day, but our weather is so nice in the morning. I know when I start my day with being outside, breathing in fresh air, my morning just starts off on the right foot.

Here's the park I walk in:

Getting back on track

It could be perceived that I've been in a "bad" mood recently, but really I'm just "blah". Even though I walked yesterday, I walked a mile and a half today and did a few great sets in the gym before I went to work this morning.

Admittedly, I felt better today! I gotta get those endorphins going on a daily basis. Of course, it also helped that a gal I see a few times a week while walking at the park noticed I've lost weight! That's exciting when a practical stranger notices you're losing weight!

I've been eating Eggbeaters for breakfast; sometimes with ham cubes. Today I drank a Muscle Milk Light for breakfast and I've been drinking a ton of water. Lunch today was a salad. I made tuna "skroodle" the other day and that's made for a few dinners & lunches. I used two cans of tuna, one box of tuna helper, one 16 oz. bag of steamed veggies (beans and carrots), and one can of tomatoes.

I also bought some Healthy Choice 100 calories fudge bars and Edamame from Costco. Edamame is a fairly new discovery for me, and I really like it.

holycrap! It's 10/13 already?

Well, the past two weeks have been busy, sort of. I have walked a few times, been to the gym a few times, but I lost my consistency getting ready for visitors. I did get a good "workout" (and bruises) moving furniture and boxes by myself.

I saw Neil Diamond on Friday! haha! The concert was great! He's a rockstar! He does have a song called "Chelsea Morning" after all. And, of course, he rocked "Coming to America".

Jeff and I are making plans for his vacation. My job had me put my vacation request on the calendar for "tentative". I hope they understand I will NOT be there while my husband is home.

That's all for now.
