My workouts have been going pretty well, actually! I've been consistent, too. I walk about 1.25 miles and then go to the gym to press weights.
60# on leg machines/thighs & hamstrings (3 sets of 15+)
70-80# on leg press
30# on chest press (3 sets of 10-12)
20# on other arm machines
Over the long weekend, I walked a few miles while I was in Flagstaff. I worked out in the gym a little extra hard on one of the days.
I still need to incorporate a workout at night. I can either walk again and/or go swimming.... AND ride my bike. (swimming being the obvious OUTDOOR choice as our summer heats back up into triple digits)
I also need to get to bed earlier so I can get up earlier. I want to walk a little further each week (more cardio). And last, but certainly not least, I need to find my damn power cord to my excercise bike that my wonderful husband bought me. The company that packed me and moved me out of my condo after it flooded did a shitty job and I can't find stuff now.
I have been eating pretty good, too. I'm certainly not on a specific diet, but I just pay attention to what I eat and when. I'm making healthier decisions. I still need to decide if I want to meet with a nutrionist and get that scheduled. I'm taking a decent amount of vitamins as recommended by naturopathic doctor.
Each day I feel a little better, maybe a little more empowered or a little more satisfied. I want to LOVE to work out and not have it feel like such a chore and I want to be ENERGIZED by my workouts. I'm not there yet, but I'm getting there...
